This antique tap billiard of about 100 years old unfortunately had legs that were completely affected by woodworm at the bottom.
The only solution was an amputation with 4 new prostheses in recycled oak 🙂
Also, the taps themselves were in poor condition: half of them had already been replaced by a plastic version, and the rubber bands around them had died.
All taps were replaced with a new wooden, hand-turned version, with new rubber bands.
The cues were also renewed, and everything else was cleaned.
And lo and behold, a rare little tap billiard table that can last a whole extra life, it’s something different!
